PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Ruth Szerepi RMT graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2010. She is a member in good standing with her professional regulatory college, the CMTBC, and a member of her professional association, the MTABC. While in the Lower Mainland, she has worked both at clinics and spas. After a move to the Okanagan in 2013 she has worked in Vernon and is currently working in Enderby.
APPROACH:
“I firmly believe in providing each of my clients with the safest and best care in treating their symptoms of pain and dysfunction.” Much like a detective, she is dedicated to identifying and treating what may be the underlying cause in the first place by listening to her clients and working with them to help relieve their symptoms and go about their regular day to day activities. Ruth has worked with a variety of individuals from babies, children, pre/post pregnancy patients to athletes, RCMP and the elderly. She welcomes all clients with a great attitude and a caring demeanor and provides a safe, comfortable environment for all of them. She is continually taking courses to provide the best care possible by being able to utilize a variety of techniques.
THERAPEUTIC EXPERTISE:
Ruth strongly believes in treating each client individually and basing her treatment techniques upon her findings. Some of the techniques she uses may include, but not limited to, are: IFT (Integrated Fascial Techniques), BMM (Biodynamic Myofascial Mobilizations),Visceral Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, L.A.S.T. (Ligamentous Articular Strain Techniques), MET (Muscle Energy Technique), Joint Mobilizations, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Release, and Basic MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) to name a few.
